The project main aim was the definition of a flexible and transferable model. This was tested on the language courses implemented in each partner country. With the general objective of fostering migrants'integration in the host society by improving their knowledge of the language, the project selected three target beneficiaries and activities:
a) newly arrived migrants for whom host country language courses focused on the communication of basic and everyday needs (situation/relation language oriented to day to day life) were organised;
b) short term resident migrants, involved in socio-linguistic and cultural alphabetization courses (with syntax functional to access services);
c) language courses centered on the citizenship issue for long-term resident migrants.
The CD rom model was presented in a final conference in Brussels.
